The river flows by

The art of living is like a river to flow,

Go by the flow, either fast or slow.

Accept what comes and cease to resist,

Allow the unseen to guide and assist.

A river just flows, whatever comes next,

Rocks or meadows, it is all for the best.

Without control she continues to stroll,

Allowing the path to itself unfold.

On its way come rocks and plains,

The river flows by without complaints.

The path appears as onward she goes,

Not straight, a rather winding course.

Rivers and streams on its way it meets,

They share their shores as they greet.

As they meet, their waters blend,

Which they shall carry till the end.

And on its way, it may meet its mate,

With water of a different colour and taste.

They embrace each other with love and glee,

And continue their journey towards the sea.

The long winding path leads her to the sea,

To flow with ease is the key.

She loses herself with surrender and devotion,

And the small river becomes the mighty ocean!
